A family run butchers for more than 100 years, our dedicated retail and production teams enjoy making and serving great food. Today our 4 local produce food halls, 2 traditional shops and online shop delight over 20,000 customers each week. We are really proud of our butchery and delicatessen ranges and also strive to champion food and drink from like-minded local producers.
Cranstons are committed to developing each team member and strongly believe in offering our employees opportunities to grow and progress.
Cranstons production unit on Ullswater Rd in Penrith is the busy central hub of Cranstons- supplying all 6 of our shops with Cranstons produce. Over 50 people work across our butchery centre and kitchens.
The beef, pork, chicken and lamb our customers know and love is prepared here by our central butchery team. This is where the sausages, bacon and pies we are renowned for are made and where we cook and prepare our meals and salads. We even have a small bakery producing traybakes and cakes.
At Cranstons we pride ourselves in the quality of our local produce made with care and skill by our dedicated team.
