A family run butchers for more than 100 years, our dedicated retail and production teams enjoy making and serving great food. Today our 4 local produce food halls, 2 traditional shops and online shop delight over 20,000 customers each week. We are really proud of our butchery and delicatessen ranges and also strive to champion food and drink from like-minded local producers.

About the role
- 40 hour contract – working 5 days per week (days falling between Monday – Saturday)
- Earliest start time being 6am and the latest finish time being 5:15pm
- Work in a combined role between being on ‘bake-off’ taking care of the magic behind the scenes through cooking off our pies and hot counter items and serving over all counters.
What you'll do
- Run the cooking needed for our store after full training
- Providing excellent customer service
- Help our customers with any questions or queries
- Serving across all counters in store and getting stuck into team tasks.
What you'll need
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on a weekend rota
- Initiative to identify tasks that need to be completed
- Interest in completing key training to contribute to the success of your store
- Experience in a similar role or willingness to learn

Who you'll be working with - Hazel Feddon
Hazel Feddon manages our Cumbrian Food Hall in Penrith. She first joined the business at just 16, spending 11 happy years there before stepping away to raise her family and build a fulfilling career in education.
Drawn back by her love for food, people and the Cranstons ethos, Hazel re-joined the team two years ago and says she’s never been happier. Passionate about developing her team and championing local producers, Hazel takes pride in helping the Food Hall thrive.
Outside of work, she’s a devoted foodie, a regular at Premier League matches, and loves exploring the Cumbrian countryside with her dog, Lola.
