Cranstons announces Charity partnership with Tynedale Hospice at Home.

Hexham Butchers Cranstons have announced a new charity partnership with Tynedale Hospice at Home. Cranstons Hexham shop will donate some of its annual profits along with actively fundraising for the charity throughout the year. Master Butchers and Shop Manager Nick Collins this week presented a cheque for £4350 to Tynedale Hospice at Home’s fundraising manager Cathy Bates.

Shop manager Nick ‘I am thrilled to announce that Cranstons Hexham will be working more closely with Tynedale Hospice at Home from now on. It is great that our customers can shop with us knowing that some of the money they spend throughout the year will be donated in support of this vital local service’’.

‘’Cranstons Hexham will continue to support other local charities and community groups with raffle prizes, sponsorship and discounted goods, along with actively fundraising and giving a proportion of profits to Tynedale Hospice.

Cranstons traditional butchers shop in the heart of Hexham is known for the quality of the Northumbrian beef and lamb it sells, for its tasty traditional sausage and dry cured bacon and for its delicious pies and hot meat butties. The friendly team can be relied upon to deliver cheerful service and butchery expertise.

Tynedale Hospice at Home Fundraising Manager Cathy Bates said: ‘Cranstons is such a wonderful community brand and a huge favourite in Tynedale – it’s just fantastic to have you working with us to help local people. Your generosity, and the money donated by your customers, will mean we can assist even more people in our area when and where they need us most. Thank you so very much for your kindness’.

Cranstons Butchers have six shops in total, 4 Food Hall’s and 2 traditional shops. Established in 1914 they have stayed true to their values, buying great local meat and making real tasty food.

Tynedale Hospice at Home is one of 4 charities Cranstons are supporting this year. In Cumbria Cranstons will be donating to Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland, Carlisle Youth Zone and The Pride of Cumbria II air ambulance.
