Cranstons Donates Over £2,000 to Tynedale Hospice at Home

At Cranstons, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us, and we’re proud to have donated £2,135 to Tynedale Hospice at Home as part of our annual share of profits.
The donation forms part of our ongoing partnership with the charity, which provides vital care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Tynedale, Ponteland and West Northumberland.
For more than 30 years, Tynedale Hospice at Home has supported local families through end-of-life nursing care in patients’ own homes, bereavement support for adults and children, patient transport services and complementary therapies. Their services are provided free of charge, helping people remain in the comfort of familiar surroundings with their loved ones during difficult times.
The cheque was presented at our Hexham shop by butcher Peter Evans and team member Ash Bell, who are pictured with Cathy Bates, Community Fundraising Lead at Tynedale Hospice at Home.
Peter Evans, butcher at Cranstons Hexham, said:
“Tynedale Hospice at Home does incredible work supporting local families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. We’re really proud to support such an important local charity through our annual share of profits, and we’d like to thank all of our customers for helping make donations like this possible.”
Cathy Bates, Community Fundraising Lead at Tynedale Hospice at Home, said:
“We are incredibly grateful to Cranstons for their continued support and generous donation of £2,135. Partnerships like this make a real difference to the patients and families we care for across our community, helping us continue to provide compassionate care when it is needed most.”
As a family business, supporting local causes is an important part of who we are. Through donations, fundraising initiatives, sponsorship and community activities, we’re proud to support four partnered charities across Cumbria and the North East throughout the year.
