Cranstons show support for the Great North Air Ambulance Service
We were thrilled to show our support to the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) last week. Our Business Development Director, Jane Silburn, handed over a cheque for £2030 to pilot Mik Kingham, Dr Ric Procter, and paramedic Ian Grey, from GNAAS.
Jane Silburn said: “We’re delighted to show our continued support for the Great North Air Ambulance Service with our latest share of profits donation. Their incredible team at Langwathby provides a crucial service, offering vital care and transportation to patients in need across our region. At Cranstons we are committed to giving back to the communities we serve. It’s brilliant for our customers to know that when they spend at Cranstons, a portion of the profits goes to our regional charity partners.”
GNAAS provide life-saving, critical care services by air and road across the North East, Cumbria, North Yorkshire and the Isle of Man. They receive no government funding and are entirely funded by the generosity of the public.
Natasha Banks, specialist fundraiser at GNAAS, said: “We are thrilled to have the continued support of Cranstons and receive another share of their profits. As a charity, we need to raise approximately £8.5m a year to remain operational, so this money will help our critical care team continue to help those in need across the region.”
GNAAS is one of the four charities we are backing this year with share of profits donations. We’ve also donated to Tynedale Hospice at Home, Carlisle Youth Zone, and Hospice at Home, Carlisle and North Lakeland.
