Cranstons Wins Business of the Year

We’re absolutely delighted to share that Cranstons has been named Business of the Year at the Penrith Stars of Business Awards 2025, hosted by the Penrith Chamber of Trade & Commerce. An award which means even more as Cranstons were voted the winner by the Penrith Public!

The Penrith Stars of Business Awards aim to recognise, celebrate and reward the individual and company success of those in business in and around Penrith. Shortlisted finalists were invited to a glitzy awards dinner and ceremony at the Roundthorn Hotel.

Michelle, Liam, Philippa, Luke, Mia, Stephen, Hazel, and Rob attended on behalf of the whole Cranstons team and were thrilled when we were announced as the winner.

Hazel Feddon, Manager of our Cumbrian Food Hall, who picked up the award said: “We’re over the moon to have received this award. It’s a real testament to the hard work of the whole Cranstons team. We all take huge pride in creating and serving great quality local food, and it means so much to be recognised by our local community. Thank you to all those who voted for Cranstons and to all our loyal customers for continuing to support us.”

At Cranstons, we’re passionate about offering great quality, locally sourced meat and produce, and about supporting the farmers, producers, and communities that make Cumbria such a special place. This award is a wonderful recognition of that shared effort.
