Say hello to… Naomi Morgan

Naomi joined our product development team last autumn after her family relocated to Cumbria from Rutland.

Naomi has a wealth of experience in the food industry, having owned her own café and bakery in her hometown and having developed recipes for her own business and several large ingredient companies.

Her family made Cumbria their permanent home due to their love of the great outdoors having holidayed here in the Lake District for many years. Naomi was looking for a role which could further develop her passion for great food.

Naomi said: “I wanted to work for a company that really cares about using the best local produce and looking after the environment.

“When we were on holidays we used to always visit the Food hall and stock up on delicious sausages and the best bacon I’ve ever tried. I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw Cranstons were looking for a product developer.
“’I am really excited about my new role, working with such a dedicated skilled team and quality local ingredients is every product developers dream job. I want our customers to continue to feel great about the products they are buying, and for the kitchen to feel proud creating them.”

Naomi told us she is currently working on an exciting range of ready meals, cooked fresh by the kitchen team from scratch using Cranstons local produce and whole ingredients.

She is also busy trialling a new vegetarian sausage roll which combines spinach, feta, fresh dill, mint and bulgur wheat.
