Where to find us

Whether you are travelling on the M6, visiting the Lake District or in the area, Café Oswalds is easy to find and has plenty of free parking. We are located just two minutes from M6 junction 40 so forget about over priced service stations and sample Cumbria’s finest local produce!

From the M6

Exit Junction 40, take the signs for Penrith town centre, go straight over the mini roundabout at the top of the hill and our entrance is the first exit on the left, you will see the distinctive Cumbrian Food Hall building ahead of you just before you turn.

From Penrith town centre

Follow the signs for the the train station, pass the train station on your right, continue along Ullswater Road past the large retail estate (Aldi, Pets At Home, B&Q), carry on until you get to the mini roundabout (you will have driven past the food hall as you can’t access it from your carriageway). At the mini roundabout, you will need to turn back on yourself to access the Cumbrian Food Hall entrance on the left.
