We’re showing Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland some love
This Valentines Day, we showed our ongoing support for Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland with a big donation. Our Orton Grange Food Hall manager, Chris Russell, presented Kylie Palmer, Corporate Fundraiser for Hospice at Home, with a cheque for £3304.
Hospice at Home ran a ‘Christmas Raffle’ with us in December, supported by our local producers. We also donated 50p from the sale of each Christmas Pudding, and 50p per kilo our festive Marmalade Gammon. In addition, we donated a share of profits.
Chris, said; “We are thrilled to continue supporting Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland. The entire Cranstons team is devoted to assisting the communities we are a part of. This donation is possible because of the generosity of our local suppliers and loyal customers.”
We are dedicated to being a positive force within the community, supporting causes that make a difference in the lives of local people. Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland is one of 4 charity partners who receive annual share of profits donations. Tynedale Hospice at Home, The Great North Air Ambulance and Carlisle Youth Zone will also receive a share of profits cheques this year.
Kylie said, “We are fortunate to receive the backing of businesses such as Cranstons. Our mission is to enhance quality of life for adults who have a palliative diagnosis, their families and carers in our area. This is done through skilled, compassionate care and support at home. Our free to use service couldn’t continue without the crucial role played by Business Partners and Volunteers. It is a testament to the shared belief that everyone deserves a choice and access to quality care within their community, and together we can ensure that Hospice at Home successfully fulfils our mission.”
