Handmade butter fudge, butter toffees and treacle toffees

These sacred fudge and toffee recipes were first manufactured over 100 years ago by Mrs Furnass the first proprieter of The Toffee Shop, and have remained unaltered. The fudge provides a delicious  ‘dissolve-in-the-mouth’ experience and the toffee is like the home made toffee some of you may have been lucky enough to eat as children- you won’t find toffee like it!

The Toffee Shop is a nationally renowned independent shop in Penrith, Cumbria (Cranstons are very proud to be based in the very same town!) Since 1910, The Toffee Shop has been dedicated to producing the world’s finest handmade fudge and toffee from a little production unit behind the shop. The secret toffee and fudge recipes have carefully transitioned through 6 generations,
