Home > Have you ever wondered how far our meat travels from field to fork? 🐷🍴 We’ve created this little animation which shows you the journey of our pork from Orchard House Farm, at Newbiggin to our food halls and shops. Sourced from local farms, made by us _____________________________ The journey starts at Newbiggin before the pigs are taken to Blackbrow Abattoir at Wigton. We then collect the pigs from Wigton and bring them back to our HQ in Penrith where our butchers breakdown the meat for our in-house butchers to prepare for our counters, and for our sausage meat. From there it is distributed to our shops in Penrith, Carlisle, Orton Grange, Brampton & Hexham.
